POSITIVE MASCULINITY & WORKPLACE CULTURE
Better men. Better leaders. Better workplaces.
Helping retail organisations bring men meaningfully into the conversation about leadership, culture and workplace change.
Rob works with retail CEOs, leadership teams and People & Culture leaders to explore what healthier masculinity can look like at work and how male leaders can play a constructive role in creating stronger, safer and more equitable workplace cultures for all staff. This is the framework that creates positive masculinity that will be a cornerstone of company values and ethos
WHY THIS MATTERS IN RETAIL
Retail is one of the first workplaces many young men experience.
Their managers, senior leaders and workplace culture can influence how they learn to communicate, lead, manage pressure, handle conflict and work alongside others.
For retail organisations, this creates an opportunity to think beyond compliance and wellbeing initiatives and consider the culture being modelled every day across stores, head office and leadership teams.
Rob helps businesses identify where healthier models of masculinity and male leadership can positively influence culture, employee experience and organisational performance.
The question is not whether men are part of workplace culture change. The question is how constructively they are participating in it.

QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions
Is this therapy or counselling?
No. This is advisory and leadership work focused on workplace culture, leadership behaviour and organisational change. It is not therapy, counselling or clinical support.
Is this only for men?
No. The work is about how organisations engage men and how male leadership influences workplace culture. Sessions and advisory engagements can involve mixed leadership teams, People & Culture teams or groups of men, depending on the organisation’s needs.
Is this a gender equity program?
It can complement existing gender equity work, but it is not a replacement for formal gender equity, safety or inclusion programs. The focus is on helping organisations understand and improve the role men play in workplace culture and leadership.
How does an engagement begin?
Most engagements begin with an initial conversation to understand the organisation, its context and the questions it is trying to address. Rob can then recommend the most appropriate format, whether that is executive advisory, a leadership session or a workplace review.
